Marjane Satrapi Dead at 56: Persepolis Author Dies of Sadness

Marjane Satrapi, the Iranian-French author and filmmaker behind Persepolis, died at 56. Her family said she died of sadness, 14 months after losing her husband Mattias Ripa.
